Ambassador of Maldives to Türkiye, Lieutenant General (Retd) Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef, met with senior officials of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) today. The meeting was held at the Embassy of Maldives in Ankara.

During the discussions, Ambassador Abdul Raheem and YTB officials focused on strengthening the partnership to ensure greater access to quality education in Türkiye for Maldivians. They explored various initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and support for Maldivian students in Türkiye.

Ambassador Raheem expressed his gratitude for YTB's ongoing support and commitment to fostering educational ties between the two nations. The meeting was attended by staff from the Embassy of Maldives in Türkiye.

During the meeting, Ambassador Abdul Raheem and Prof. Dr. Atar exchanged views on enhancing cooperation and exploring potential collaboration in the field of agriculture. They discussed various opportunities for joint research projects, academic exchanges, and initiatives aimed at improving agricultural practices and sustainability.
